Sony VPL-PX15 LCD Projector

Description

The VPL-PX15 is an ideal projector for the expanding wireless business world. This portable projector offers a high brightness level of 2000 ANSI lumens and provides true XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels using three 0.9-inch LCD panels for high-quality, high-contrast images even in ambient light conditions. It has a peer-to-peer (ad-hoc) networking capability that sets up a wireless peer-to-peer network in spaces without a network environment by using a wireless LAN PC Card. The projector includes a 10Base-T/100Base-TX interface that connects it to the LAN. Using the projector's browser, users can surf the Internet, and with assignable IP addresses, the projector can be accessed remotely via the Internet for maintenance, or for the purpose of uploading files to the projector's memory. It has a memory storage that saves presentation files in the projector enabling PC-less presentations. The VPL-PX15 is provided with Sony Presentation Viewer, Image Viewer and File Manager application software. The projector accepts a wide variety of input signals, including composite video, S video and RGB, as well as computer signals up to SXGA. The VPL-PX15 is USB-ready, and serves as a USB hub for daisy chain connection of multiple devices. With the USB connection, the projector can be controlled by a computer, using the Projector Station™ USB application software. The projector includes a laser pointer-equipped remote control unit for the mouse, Digital Zoom and Freeze functions.
