    • Product Rating: 5 star(s) Great tv, great price, who could ask for more?
      by gategirl76, Sep. 22, 2008
    • Pros: Reduced glare and fast setup
    • Cons: lack of HD cables
    • Comments:
Our old tv was going out and it was time to buy a new one. I had read that LCD HD televisions were the way to go. After some shopping around, I chose the Sharp Aquos LCD HD Television. Once the television came, it took no time to set up and we were running. The picture quality was superb and once we connected the dvd player with the correct HD cables, our movie experience was phenomenal. ...

Purchased TV Jan 2008. Picture turned green when watching TV. Parts were changed and still happened next day. Sharp replaced the TV with a brand new unit. Pictured turned green on the second TV. Waiting now for two weeks for Sharp and PC Richards to...

CNET has not reviewed the 46-inch Sharp LC-46D64U, but we have reviewed the 52-inch LC-52D64U. The two televisions are identical but for screen size, and we expect them to perform similarly. For more information, check out the full review of the Sharp LC-...

The Aquos D64U Series fits a large screen size into incredibly small footprints. The depth of the D64U series is reduced by 30% by changing the layout of the circuits inside the LCD panel. ...

      by Online Shopper
    • Pros: Excellent black levels for an LCD TV; deinterlaced 1080i material properly; solid connectivity with 3 HDMI inputs; classy styling with thin frame around the screen and slim depth.
    • Cons: Relatively expensive; uneven uniformity manifests as irregular bands across screen; color becomes bluer in darker areas; lacks picture-in-picture.

    • Product Rating: 2.5 star(s) Sharp LC-46D64U
      by Rick Broida
    • Pros: Slim design and glossy black bezel really class up the joint. Plenty of inputs, including three HDMI 1.3, and the switchin' is fast and easy. Novice-friendly menus. Backlit remote doesn't overwhelm with buttons.
    • Cons: Pushes some colors way too hard. Standard-def images look craptacular, while other sources show tons of noise. Remote is unnecessarily ginormous. Sunken, vertically oriented rear analog inputs virtually impossible to reach.
    • Comments:
Did we miss a press release? Did Sharp join with the producers of Lost to create a new mystery? Because when we watched the show on this 46-inch LCD, we noticed that everyone on the island had turned orange. Even the Others had the same ruddy hue, meaning...
