Tech support nightmares
by lisa, Oct. 22, 2007 - Pros: Looks good, large screen, bright colors
- Cons: Tech support is not worth the time. Crashed twice.
- Has Owned Product: 11 months
- Comments:
$300.00 should not crash and wipe out twice in less than a year. Tech support wants $25.00 each time to get it up and running again only to have it crash again later. I was told "this happens sometimes". I cannot send it in for repair because we get it r...

Service/repair Department from Hell
by lee, Jul. 20, 2007 - Pros: Works well enough
- Cons: Don't ever send it to Palm for repair
- Has Owned Product: 7 weeks
- Comments:
I sent my Palm Tx in for repair on July 5th. (Screen replacement) Their website "promises" repair and return in 5 to 7 business days. Up until July 20th and NO ONE at Palm can tell me where my TX is and when it will be returned. Two days ago a member of...

by wednesday, May. 30, 2007 - Pros: It's a PDA, and it works but I expect a repair soon.
- Cons: I also had the screen screw up within weeks of using it.
- Has Owned Product: 1 year
- Comments:
I bought this thing a year ago but never used it until last month. Within a few days the screen started messing
up, not responding to input. These and most electronics are built in China and so you can expect it to break in
an absurdly short...

flimsy screen
by corbonkid, Mar. 29, 2007 - Pros: large screen, good detail/definition, fair processor speed
- Cons: write-on screen malfunction in first two months
- Has Owned Product: 2 years
- Comments:
Good value for memory-card capable pda w/o hard drive, but slow search speed and the the screen scratched in the first two months (I only use the stylus). Very frustrating trying to enter data when the screen fails to respond correctly to input strokes...

Zero tech support from Palm

The TX is my second, and last Palm. I had a Tungsten C and loved it. I recently swithced to from a PC to a mac
and was shocked to discover how few of the TX's applications wil sync with a mac. Basic things like the
Expenses application wi...

Palm finally delivers!
by Online Shopper, Oct. 31, 2005 - Pros: Intergrated WiFi, great screen, battery life
- Cons: only 100 Meg of internal memory, no charging cradle
- Has Owned Product: 10 days
- Comments:
This is my fourth Palm PDA. I upgraded from a Palm Tungsten T to the new T/X. I've been waiting for Palm to come out with an integrated WiFi unit and have been pleased with the unit to date. The synching via WiFi is slick and the screen quality is excell...

Palm TX
by Online Shopper - Pros: Slim and lightweight design; bright screen; Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity; Secure Digital (SD) expansion slot.
- Cons: Cannot be used as a USB drive; average battery life.
- Comments:
There's little to complain about this chic model that follows closely on the success of the Tungsten T5 except that it is not for those looking for the complete all-in-one mobile device as it does not have phone and camera features. ...

PDA Palm's new TX sacrifices some of the storage and processing power of its predecessor, the Tungsten T5, in exchange for wi-fi and a lower price. The end result: more features for the buck... - Read full review at pcworld.co.nz
