I hate this phone
by Luna, Aug. 16, 2007 - Pros: The phone was free, it is somewhat lightweight
- Cons: Basic functions difficult to use, screen easily scratches
- Has Owned Product: 5 months
- Comments:
I can't express how much I hate this phone. Sure, it looks fancy and high-tech (and it was free since I signed a new 2-year contract with Verizon) but the phone has caused a lot of problems. First, basic functions such as clicking over to another party...

Wacky mute button; wacky mute function.
by maud, Jul. 15, 2007 - Pros: Phone is ok.
- Cons: Where is the mute button?? Inadequate operators manual.
- Has Owned Product: 1 year
- Comments:
I was traveling recently and the mute function suddenly engaged and I was incommunicado! The people I called could hear me but I could not hear them. I have no idea how the mute function engaged. I checked the manual, which was of absolutely no help; the...

Motorola E815 Review
by Allen Tsai - Comments:
Americans love clamshells. Nokia and Sony Ericsson have dabbled in folding design, but are far better known for block form factors; often struggling with the trade-off between keeping the size small while fitting a large screen. For the majority of flip p... - Read full review at mobiledia.com

Motorola E815 for Verizon Review
by Lisa Gade - Pros: Sturdy build, great call quality and RF, EVDO for high speed surfing and VCast content. Nice camera that shoots pleasing still shots, Bluetooth, voice dialing, speaker phone and an expansion slot so you won't have to email yourself photos and videos taken
- Cons: A bit large and heavy by flip phone standards. MP3 player is short on features.
- Comments:
The Moto E815 is a standard clamshell phone, no surprises in the design department. Like many Verizon phones, the E815 sports a large external antenna- not a great feeling when in the pocket, but it does nice things for reception, and this Moto has fantas... - Read full review at mobiletechreview.com
