With VCR Plus+® and JVC's Cable Eye cable box/DBS controller (available free via mail-in coupon), you can automatically record a program by entering its PlusCode® (found in TV Guide and many newspaper listings)! In addition to transport functions like rewind, fast-forward, slow motion, and frame-by-frame, the advanced jog/shuttle control on the unit lets you quickly program timer recordings for the next 24 hours. And Rec Link lets you use the timer built into your DBS receiver or cable box to control unattended recordings. The back-panel S-video in/out gives you a high-quality connection with a compatible TV or DBS tuner. You also get AV CompuLink for easy system control with compatible JVC components, and a remote that controls most brands of TVs, cable boxes, and DBS receivers.
