      by Otis t, Nov. 16, 2008
    • Pros: She knows where she is going
    • Cons: Some new road construction (1 year old) does not recognize
    • Comments:
Well, Something I should have done along time ago. Constantly was downloading maps to paper and still getting lost. My Garmin is a time saver and if you need other info beside directions, such as phone numbers and business locations, they are all at your finger tips... ...

    • Product Rating: 5 star(s) Never Get Lost Again
      by Baassoc, Aug. 7, 2008
    • Pros: Gets me to where I want to go. Finds places to eat
    • Cons: Disappointed it didn't come with a full user guide.
    • Comments:
Only had it about one month, but I love it. Sorry it doesn't give the total travel distance on an Interstate, rather then intermediate distances to unnecessary interchanges. Gives the false impression that it is going to route you off the interstate. ...

      by HappyESQ2B, Aug. 4, 2008
    • Pros: I like it because I don't have to go to mapquest all the time and for my job that is impossible.
    • Cons: Sometimes I have to unplug it and turn it off a couple times for it to "find" me..It's can be frustrating.
    • Comments:
I like it a lot. I think it needs some adjusting... the way the satellites don't know where I am but mostly it is a Godsend. ...

    • Pros: This product has paid for itself by getting me to appointments that I would have missed because I was unfamiliar with the area.
    • Cons: I would like the battery life to last longer. I am having a problem getting the windshield attachment in place.

    • Product Rating: 4 star(s) Mostly the right direction...
      by uncpfan, Jul. 11, 2008
    • Pros: Has helped find places by address that were not easy to find otherwise
    • Cons: sometimes wants to take you on a slower route that is "shorter" (insistant about it)
    • Comments:
There are occaisional routing issues. When I started towards one route, I flipped through it and it went the way I anticipated. However when driving the route (interstate), it kept wanting me to get off and take the local road which would take 20-30 minutes longer but was "shorter." However when going to an address for a business it got me there when I couldn't find it before since it was a mall behind a plaza so not easy to find. I live down a long, dirt driveway and set home for at the house. It still gives me turn by turn even after I leave the marked roads it has loaded. I like the fact that it's easily portable with an internal battery for walking, motorcycle, biking, etc. Some of the POIs are questionable, not having my local Post Office and directing me to a mariad of other towns to find one (luckily I already knew where to go). Would like to add POIs in the appropriate categories. ...

    • Product Rating: 5 star(s) I love my Nuvi 350.
      by lymas, Jul. 7, 2008
    • Pros: Easy to use, Convenient and logical, Easy to program.
    • Cons: Be careful to read and understand your programming. Difficult to read display in sunlight while driving.
    • Comments:
Use it whereever you go, even for finding local specialty stores. It is however difficult to read in daylight while driving with polaroid sunglasses. Great for Family Vacations. I go fishing and leave my wife and daughter with the GPS to find their way around town. ...
