The wonders of technology
by MizTerry, Sep. 21, 2008 - Pros: Spoken street names so you don't have to look at the unit for the street.
- Cons: Sometimes it takes the satellites some time to load.
- Comments:
I like how this unit switches from day screen to night screen automatically and speaks the street names. My Dad has one and after using his to go to Disney, I had to have one myself. What a wonderful thing. I can even have it on map and if I see a road I want to get to, I touch that road and it gets me there. Also, I can find local restaurants at the push of a button. If I want Italian, it lists all the Italian restaurants and when I find one I like, it directs me there. GREAT for those who are directionally challenged. ...

I'd be lost without it.
by gordingo, Sep. 4, 2008 - Pros: Gives plenty of notice , plus reminders, of upcoming turns. Easy to use and it compensates for human mistakes; ie, missed turns.
- Cons: My passenger can't program it while I am moving.
- Comments:
It is easy to use ,and if you miss a turn it "recalculates" automatically. There is plenty of notice as to upcoming turns, plus reminders. ...

Groovi Nuvi
by Arkie1, Jul. 20, 2008 - Pros: Nice display, easy to use, great reception.
- Cons: Cannot understand some of the spoken street names, does not have current places of interest.
- Comments:
Just purchased it and have not used it much yet; however, I will use it this week for a road trip. I am the only driver in the family and the only one who can read a map. Can't read and drive, so this will be great! ...

The Basic GPS + Some Nice Features
by RedJetta805, Jun. 24, 2008 - Pros: Easy to Use, Large Screen, Speaks Street Names
- Cons: No MP3 player, No Live Traffic Features
- Comments:
I bought this model because I wanted a basic navigation system plus a wide screen and spoken street names. I got exactly what I wanted. However, a GPS with an MP3 player would have allowed me access to audio tours (that can be downloaded from the internet). And having the foresight of bad traffic conditions would have been nice, but much more costly. So, I'm happy with my purchase. ...

Good Product
by Artmaker1, Jun. 17, 2008 - Pros: Quick and easy to set up and use.
- Cons: Can't think of any
- Comments:
I think it works pretty good and is easy to use. Could use a more current map though. But, it's hard to keep up with the constant construction in my area. ...

Great look, average performance- would recommend!
by Robin428, May. 25, 2008 - Pros: Great display, Light weight.
- Cons: Only gives name of the street you're turning on with specific language choice.
- Comments:
I looked into quite a few GPS systems and this seemed to be the right fit for me. The screen is huge and its light weight. I carry it around in my purse all the time. I was excited that it would say "Turn right 300ft on Main Street" vs "Turn right in 300ft". The only draw back is that feature only works for one specific language choice. It may be a personal preference thing but I hate the fact that it tells you the time you should arrive at your destination verses telling how long the trip should take or the total distance. All in all I'm still glad with my purchase. ...
