nice camera with minor drawbacks
by ivangames, Oct. 15, 2004 - Pros: nice pictures in daylight
- Cons: poor light = poor picture quality
- Has Owned Product: 6 months
- Comments:
Overall, the camera is pretty good. The drawback is that it takes poor pictures in the dark. You can either set in "Nightscene" or "Slow Mo" modes, but both of them take very blurry pictures. Also, at night or indoor rooms, you'll see an round light-c...

Good camera but has few bad tweaks
by memorymist, Oct. 8, 2004 - Pros: good picture quality
- Cons: pictures may easily get erased without caution
- Has Owned Product: 4 months
- Comments:
I originally had the Canon Powershot S45, which is the predecessor of the S60. S60 did not disappoint me much, except the fact it's not as durable as the S45. While playing around with the camera, be careful not to press the wrong icon. There is an ic...

Bought the camera 2 months ago, and it still doesn't work.
by kick, Aug. 8, 2004 - Pros: I am not sure - I haven't got it working yet
- Cons: It never worked, and canon does not care.
- Has Owned Product: 2 months
- Comments:
I bought this camera 2 months ago, and right out of the box, it didn't work. The store would not exchange it for a new one, they said I had to send it to canon. I have sent it to canon twice, paying for shipping the first time, for it to be "adjusted". I...

This is the one to get!
by Online Shopper, Jul. 6, 2004 - Pros: RAW Images, Wide Angle Lens
- Cons: they should have made this one sooner
- Has Owned Product: 10 days
- Comments:
As a pro shooter this is the first fun camera worth keeping. As a pro shooter using Kodak DCS 760 and 14nx I wouldn't accept a jpg camera, this one is sharp, great color and easy to use, with a 512 card it holds just under 100 shots..the wide angle lens...

Canon PowerShot S60
by Online Shopper - Comments:
The PowerShot S60 is undoubtedly a powerful camera at a good price, with a particularly good lens. However, it suffers from modest but annoying colour fringing and a nasty plastic construction. With simultaneous RAW and JPEG saving, it... - Read full review at dcmag.co.uk
