THIS is the one to get--it ROCKS!!!
by arm71, Oct. 2, 2008 - Pros: It's so easy to use, has an excellent instruction manual, is excellent for the beginning sewer as well as the more advanced.
- Cons: At times it's a little difficult to tell which presser foot to use by viewing the pictures in the manual.
- Comments:
I am brand new to sewing, and I bought this machine based on the advice of friend who has quite a lot of experience. I absolutely love it! I have made several things already and was able to get started quickly because of the simplistic instruction manual included with the machine. Even winding the bobbin and threading the machine was a breeze because of the diagrams that actually appear on the sewing machine. There are more stitch choices than I could ever hope to use, and changing out the presser foots is a breeze once I figure out which ones to use. Although I'm new to sewing, I already appreciate the extra features this machine has because no matter your experience level, everyone appreciates shortcuts that make life easier! And to top it all off, the price could not be beat. I bought a "refurbished" model after researching exactly what that means. I found that most of them are still new and in perfect condition, as is the case with mine. AWESOME!! I feel lucky to have made such a great purchase at a great price! I went ahead and bought the extended warranty, but I don't think I'll be needing it. ...

- Comments:
Bought my machine at Wal_Mart 3 months ago and have really had nothing but problems out of it. The bobbin case keeps popping out of the machine while I am sewing and breaking my needles in turn making holes in the bobbin case. Now the spring that keeps...
