I had no idea what your average shipping time was- it took over a week to send non-imprinted lanyards- should it have taken that long?

Non-printed lanyards typically ship out the same day they are ordered. The 2 exceptions to that are when customers need us to custom build the lanyard with very specific colors and attachments or when we are temporarily out of stock in a a particular option and have to quickly assembly another batch to build the inventory back up. I cannot know for sure which of these 2 exceptions was the case here, but there was an apparent communication error as to the time frame and we accept responsibility for that. We have taken the initiative to re-train on that portion of customer service. Thank you for the review.
