My reasons why I am upset with TechOnWeb. 1. Order should be charged to credit card IMMEDIATELY like all other shops on the internet. Not four days later. 2. Would not allow order to be shipped UPS to alternate shipping address. This causes MAJOR delay to me. Yet my alternate shipping address has been used for 15 years since its UPS HOLD FOR PICKUP. Yes this is the UPS building address. Allows me to pickup first thing in the AM so I get product before going to work almost always on Thursday. By the way UPS is across the street from my home, so this is mainly why its important to offer more shipping options. 3. Instead of cheap UPS ground service which would have arrived to the UPS building on Thursday morning, I was forced to pay a LOT more for 2nd day air which arrived on Thursday afternoon for which I am NOT home. All my other orders from other shops ordered at same time arrived via UPS ground on Thursday morning but TechOnWeb 2 day shipping arrived in my hands on Friday ONE day later than everyone elses cheap ups ground. This is an utter joke. Give us more shipping options please. 4. TOW uses excuses for their methods instead of solutions. I much prefer solutions, since I AM THE CUSTOMER. 5. Customer support was friendly especially Joshua via phone support. Melissa Johnson was kinda rude, only gave me excuses to why they were not as efficient as the other shops on the internet. But Im ok with this since its their biz. Just not for me. I need instant billing to card and first thing monday shipping. Mellissa used the excuse that monday was a holiday, but the problem with this excuse is ALL the other shops I ordered from shipped my packages on that same Monday, gound no less and they arrived on Thursday BEFORE techonwebs expensive 2 day shipping. Also late getting the tracking number to the customer. 6. All the money I saved going with techonweb for this product was spent on their 2 day shipping just to try and get the product at the same time as all the other shops on the internet. Or should I say all the others that Im willing to purchase from. 7. If the product is defective you can bet I will not deal with techonweb for RMA. I will just use the products manufacturer for support. I can tell techonweb will be a headache to deal with RMA. 8. If you are ok with late billing and late shipping and gets here when ever it gets here type of attitude, than I think this is a great place to shop. Customer support was great especially Joshua and I thank him for that. I just think the #1 most important thing in online shopping is instant billing to credit card and instant shipping first thing on monday or tuesday, with instant email notifications of all information. The whole reason to order on the weekend is to use ground service so it gets here before the end of the week and you save money, which happens to be very important in this economy. 9. I spend tens of thousands of dollars a year on consumer products mainly electronics and not very often do I come across delays of this sort. For the most part all the shops I ever deal with work everything out almost instantly, so the theory that techonweb is normal business practice is rubbish. They are just lazy or understaffed or do not care about expediency or all of the above. A lower fraud rate is no excuse for keeping the customer waiting. Expediency with billing and shipping is ultimately much more important along with packaging quality and customer service. Thank you!
