My responses may be confusing, because the item I oredered was on back order and REI was unable to tell me whether I will get it for sure. I have not yet received the item.
A big disconnect between REI's notification email system and actual shipping/delivery. Order placed on 10-17, first feedback email received 10-25, called store for status on 10-27, delay notice email received 10-29 and pickup notice email received 10-30.
Order was for gift card that was sent to couple w/Bridal Registry @ REI. Survey should either NOT be sent for Gift Card orders or it should be revised to allow responses pertaining to orders shipped to a third party.
Highly satisfied with REI's performance. A little dissatisfied with one item as instructions do not match item - but that is manufacturer's (CamelBak) issue, not REI's.
