Comments:
I am a realtor and need it to find property in the Lake Gaston VA /NC area. I have owned the unit for a year and have used it from CT, the DC area, and NC /VA areas. It finds great restaurants, stores,as well as addresses.

I have a bit of an issue finding property in rural areas because it looks for towns and city, not county where most of my real estate business is.

I bought it to build routes and it does that. The XM radio works well with a cassett tape attachment inserted in the car radio and plugged into the 2730.

It is an issue trying to hear xm radio without the cassette attachment when the unit is in an urban area with a lot of radio stations. You have to find a vacant radio freq. for the xm to use to transmit to your car radio. Get the cassette from Radio Shack.

The car power line has loosened up and loses connection on the back of the unit causing it to turn on and off. I need to order a new line.It will keep the program when it comes back on and no need to re define the route.

The unit ocasionally gets lost, but not often. It tends to show you the main routes and not short cuts. It will re calculate if you make a wrong turn and get you where you need to go. If you don't need xm and multiple stop routing get a cheaper unit. I have 4 garmins, 3 for the airplane, like them all.
