The color was much darker than shown in the photo. not just a shade off either 3 shades darker. Lucky I am not that picky. The item is not solid as stated it is vener. otherwase nice product even if it was described correctly I would have bought it.

The chairs look awesome - and were easy to put together, however, the padding is much less than I had hoped for - sitting in chair for more than 30 minutes - you can feel the square wood of the frame :-( Not as comfy as they seem.

Pros: The chairs I ordered came when promised and met each description. Cons: One of the chairs arrived broken. Most likely due to mishandling by the shipping company. Could have been packaged better to prevent the breakage however.

The info on the website was incorrect. I am so pleased with the service. I felt like they were doing everything possible to make everything right. They even spent time looking for alternative chairs. It was a great experience.

Although I was charged for the full order, only part of it was sent and I had to contact Dining Rooms Direct, who, in turn, had to cantact their supplier and find out where the remaining part of my order was.
